Dear Rocky Mount Family,
Yesterday was another exciting day at Rocky Mount Elementary as we celebrated Pi Day! Students in 3rd, 4th and 5th grade were challenged to earn 314 First in Math stickers for the opportunity to "pie" one their teachers. It was exciting to see that 117 students met the 314 sticker challenge at least one time with several students meeting the 314 sticker challenge six times.
A drawing was held and fourteen "pi" students were selected to throw whipped cream pies at fourteen staff members. This fun event was just one more way we are celebrating our continued success with First in Math!
